Reducing the risk of dementia with

Mind your Mind

Can you reduce your risk of developing dementia? Dementia cannot as yet be prevented or cured, but there is strong evidence that the risk may be reduced by adopting a brain healthy lifestyle. This website explains how to do that with Mind your Mind, Alzheimer’s Australia’s dementia risk reduction program.

The seven Mind your Mind signposts point the way to a healthy brain and reducing your risk of dementia. There are no guarantees, but the evidence shows that people who stay active and look after their vascular health are less likely on average to develop dementia. And if they do get dementia, the onset may be delayed so they have more years of healthy life.
